2008 Trip to Malaysia

Tamin Tusik

TUESDAY 21 OCTOBER 2008 The next morning, Jenni decides to return to Ampang Park to do some shopping without me. Hurtfully, she told me she wished her girl friends were there with her. By now, I'm getting a heavy cold so I wander through the attractions opposite the hotel. TUESDAY 21 OCTOBER 2008 The museum is very difficult to get to for a pedestrian. TUESDAY 21 OCTOBER 2008 Once again, beautiful tropical flowers attract my eye. TUESDAY 21 OCTOBER 2008 I enter the Lake Garden via a tunnel that goes under the highway behind the Museum.
TUESDAY 21 OCTOBER 2008 I think this sign is hilarious. I think it says it's OK for men to kiss men and women to kiss women. TUESDAY 21 OCTOBER 2008 The garden has beautiful walkways and paths and everything is green and lush - as it should seeing as it rains every day. TUESDAY 21 OCTOBER 2008 My Bahasa is improving. I can recognise that Motorsikal means motorcycle. TUESDAY 21 OCTOBER 2008 Not feeling at all well, I return early to the hotel via a bridge between the park and the museum.
TUESDAY 21 OCTOBER 2008 The frieze on the Museum wall depicts Malaysian history. Rain clouds are starting to form in the background. TUESDAY 21 OCTOBER 2008 I return to the hotel and wait for the afternoon rain to appear. Next: Our last day in Kuala Lumpur"
