The Bingie Bingie Point rocks are part of the early Devonian granites of the Moruya batholith and are 415 to 390 million years old. A batholith is a body of rock, usually granite, that has formed in the earth's crust. Note: The Devonian Period (Age of fishes) is part of the Paleozoic Era.
