Ebenezer Uniting Church, on the banks of the Hawkesbury River, was originally a Presbyterian chapel which is the oldest standing church building in Australia. It was the first Presbyterian cemetery and contains the graves of many of the Scots who arrived on the ship the ‘Coromandel’ in 1802 and other church pioneers who were amongst the first settlers in the Hawkesbury.
