Mrs D Cohen's Millinery.  Built in 1878 at 444 Baker Street, Detroit, this small commercial building with second floor living quarters, housed several businesses. 1986 FordPostcards 0011 b Wright Bros. Store.  The Wright Cycle Shop has been called the "Birthplace of Aviation" because it was here that the Wrights' conducted many experiments and constructed the world's first successful heavier-than-air manned aircraft.  The cycle shop originally located a few blocks from the Wright home in Dayton, Ohio was the last of four establishments where the brothers engaged in the cycle business.
