Tuesday, 14 March 2023 We woke up to light rain this morning. Oh well, another fantastic breakfast & then we took off on our drive back to Biot. Tuesday, 14 March 2023 Hazelnut trees Tuesday, 14 March 2023 Alba is the home of Ferrero Rocher (you can tour the factory...we didn't). I was told it's also the home of Nutella but I didn't see any signs for Nutella other than many, many hazelnut orchards. An observation: the trees seem to be pruned to encourage low spreading growth...guess it makes it easier for harvesting.

Our drive back would have been even longer if I'd asked Sussie to stop at every picture I'd have taken!! The scenery was awesome, as was Sussie's driving on the challenging roads.
